Totals vs rates
Every stat is one point in a duel, but they don't all say the same thing. Totals reward time spent, rates reward how well you play per match or per minute. When a new account takes on a veteran, the totals usually go to the veteran no matter who plays better.
If you win most of these against an older account, you're likely the stronger player per match, even if the headline score says otherwise.
Fair between two accounts of a similar age. Between a fresh account and a veteran, read them as hours, not skill.
Things that skew PUBG stats
Lifetime stats add up solo, duo and squad. Squads make wins and assists easier to collect.
Ranked tier, KDA and win rate show only after a ranked match this season.
A single lucky shot sets it. It says little about everyday play.

K/D counts only the fights you finished. Damage per match is the better read of how much you contribute.
