The rule
per stat, to the player with the higher number. Every stat weighs the same.
when the values are equal. Nobody scores, and the stat still counts as compared.
when only one player has the stat, for example private ranked data. It never moves the score.
Stats neither player has are left out entirely. The headline score is the number of stats each player won, for example 12–5 on 17 shared stats. The categories line counts which player won more stats in each category. The dominance percentage is the share of decided stats, draws excluded, that player one won, and it decides the verdict.
Verdicts
Five verdicts, read from player one's share of the decided stats. The headline and the roast on a result are picked from a fixed set of lines for that verdict. They are jokes: they never change the score, and rerolling the roast changes only the wording.
| Verdict | Player one's share of decided stats |
|---|---|
| Big win | 70–100% |
| Narrow win | 55–69% |
| Tie | 46–54% |
| Narrow loss | 31–45% |
| Big loss | 0–30% |
What it does and doesn't measure
Every stat counts equally, and that is the catch. A player who has played far longer will usually win the totals even if they play worse per match, so a 17–0 against a professional says more about hours than about skill. Treat the verdict as a conversation starter, not a ranking.
The older account wins these almost by default.
The fairer stats to look at when the accounts are far apart in age.
Roles skew it too. In Dota 2, wards, healing and stuns reward supports while farm rewards cores, so a support against a carry is a role comparison as much as a skill comparison. In League of Legends, combat, farming and impact come from the last 10 games only, so a good or bad week moves them.
